At CTT Law, we believe in making a positive impact on the communities we serve, both through our legal work and by giving back in other meaningful ways. Throughout 2024, our team’s charity efforts, supported by our strategic partners and boosted by charitable pledges and gift aid, helped raise an incredible £6,065.04 for Helping Hands Community Charity, a local organisation dedicated to supporting homeless individuals and families in need in Leamington Spa and Warwickshire.
A year of successful fundraising events was orchestrated by our dedicated CTT Law Charity Committee, which brought together employees, clients, and members of the local community in the spirit of generosity. The support we received for our events was nothing short of inspiring.
Our Fundraising Highlights
Easter Raffle: We kicked off our year with an Easter Raffle, where participants had the chance to win some fantastic prizes, all generously donated by our staff and partners.
Skydive by Dominic Haney: In one of the most daring contributions, one of our most talented Fee Earners, Dominic Haney, bravely took part in a skydive, jumping from 13,000 feet to raise funds for Helping Hands. With his enthusiasm and willingness to push his own boundaries, Dominic’s thrilling leap from a plane was a memorable moment in our charity efforts, inspiring many to donate.
Christmas Bake-Off, Raffle and Auction: As the holiday season approached, we hosted a festive Christmas bake-off, where the culinary skills of the team at CTT Law, alongside those of our strategic partners, CTT Group, were put to the test. Along with a raffle and auction featuring incredible prizes, the event raised both money and Christmas spirit, bringing our staff together for a fantastic cause at ‘the most wonderful time of the year’!
Charity Quiz Night Extravaganza:
The pinnacle of our fundraising efforts in 2024 was our Charity Quiz Night Extravaganza. This fun-filled evening was a true celebration of team spirit, creativity, and community involvement. The night included a challenging quiz, a lively bottle raffle, mind-blowing tricks from ‘Sweet Deception Magic’ and the energetic performance of local band, ‘The Last Credits’, all set in a vibrant atmosphere at Butts Park Arena in Coventry.
Thanks to the hard work of the Charity Committee and the generosity of all those who attended, we raised a remarkable £1,775 on the night alone. Of that total, £1,180 was raised through cash donations, which were doubled by the incredible Big Give Campaign, meaning the people Helping Hands support could benefit twice as much as a result of the evening.
This event was the highlight of our year, and it is a testament to the power of community when people come together with a shared purpose. We were thrilled to see our colleagues, clients, and friends join us in this exciting event, all in the spirit of supporting those in need.
Gratitude to Our Supporters
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, donated, or attended any of the events throughout 2024. Your support has made a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and families facing homelessness in our local area. Whether you purchased a raffle ticket, made a donation, took part in an event, or simply helped spread the word, your involvement has been invaluable.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we reflect on the tremendous success of our fundraising efforts in 2024, we are excited to announce that CTT Law will soon be nominating another charity to support in 2025. Our aim is to raise even more this year to help those in need, and we hope that the continued support from our staff, clients, and community will allow us to make an even greater impact in our local area.
Together, we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, and we look forward to another year of charity events that bring us closer to our goal of helping those in need.
If you would like to get involved in this year’s fundraising, or need legal assistance, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Thank you once again for your generosity and support.
