Debbie Bates

Finance Director & Head of Finance and Administration

Debbie is the Head of CTT Law’s Finance Department and has over 15 years of experience in accounts, with the last 7 of those years primarily looking after client money accounts. Debbie has embraced the role as HOFA and is committed to ensuring systems and processes are in place that enables the company to comply with obligations posed under the SRA Accounts Rules.

Laura Toner

Head of Conveyancing

Laura Toner LL.B (Hons) is a Licensed Conveyancer and the Head of Conveyancing here at CTT Law Limited, with more than a decade of experience in residential, commercial, and trust-based conveyancing. Laura graduated from Nottingham Law School in 2016 before undertaking the Diploma in Conveyancing Law and Practice in 2017 and obtaining her Conveyancing Licence.

Having worked in both high street and top 500 law firms, Laura brings a depth of technical knowledge and practical insight to her role. Her expertise, combined with exceptional organisational skill, ensures efficient, and reliable outcomes for clients and has led her young and dynamic team to both industry recognition and award-winning success under her guidance.

Adam Robinson

Head of Litigation

Adam is a Solicitor and the Head of Litigation here at CTT Law Limited, bringing over a decade of hands-on litigation experience to the team. Adam graduated from Teesside University before completing his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York. Since qualifying as a Solicitor in 2017, Adam has acted for both Claimants and Defendants across a diverse range of legal disputes, equipping him with a well-rounded and strategic approach to litigation.

Adam’s current practice includes contentious private client matters, property disputes, professional negligence, debt recovery, and employment cases. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes make him a trusted advisor to clients facing all kinds of legal challenges.

Faqir Asfundyar Yousaf

Senior Solicitor

Faqir Yousaf LL.M is a litigation and dispute resolution solicitor at CTT Law Ltd. He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) and an Advocate of the High Court in Pakistan. In his years as an advocate and a legal practitioner across jurisdictions, Faqir has acquired broad experience in both contentious and non-contentious civil and commercial matters, including international arbitration, international corporate governance and corporate and commercial Law.

Faqir graduated from the University of Punjab before moving to the UK where he obtained his master’s degree in International Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation from the University of Warwick.

Faqir deploys a forensic analysis of complex issues and a genuine passion for the law to the aid of his clients, helping them to identify and avoid the many pitfalls of litigation at an early stage.

Michael Hughes

Solicitor

Michael Hughes LL.M is a Solicitor with experience in trust conveyancing. Michael graduated from The University of Law with honours in 2018 and gained his master’s degree in Law the following year before beginning his legal career.

Michael gained specialist knowledge and experience in trusts and conveyancing from working in-house at a pioneering national Trust Corporation. Having completed his academic training, Michael has taken up his training contract with CTT Law, showing enthusiasm for the law and recognising the excellence expected of him as the first Trainee Solicitor at the firm.

Dominic Haney

Transfer Team Leader and Conveyancing Fee Earner

Dominic Haney LLB (Hons) is a Conveyancing Fee Earner with experience in trust conveyancing. Dominic graduated from Birmingham City University with honours in 2018 before beginning his legal career. Having gained specialist knowledge and understanding of trust conveyancing from his time working in-house in the conveyancing department of a leading and well-respected national Trust Corporation, Dominic joined CTT Law with a passion for Conveyancing and to continue developing his conveyancing skills and experience.

Zana Ahmati

Litigation Fee Earner, Trainee Solicitor

Zana Ahmati is a Fee Earner in the firm’s litigation department. Zana graduated from Northumbria University with a First Class Honours degree and her Masters in Law. Zana also completed her Bar Professional Training Course in 2017.

Zana has over 5 years litigation experience, largely dealing with property damage and financial services disputes. She has a genuine passion for litigation and always strives to secure the best possible outcome, whilst providing excellent services to her clients throughout.

Zana is looking forward to further developing her litigation skills at CTT Law and qualifying as a Solicitor with the firm.

Emma Bolochowecki

Conveyancing Fee Earner

Emma Bolochowecki is a Conveyancing Fee Earner with over 10 years experience in Residential Conveyancing. Having worked for over a decade within the residential conveyancing industry, Emma has gained a comprehensive and practical understanding of the conveyancing process.

With a practical, no-nonsense approach, Emma brings her hands-on experience of conveyancing to the firm with a passion to further develop her conveyancing skill and acquire further knowledge of the firm’s specialist trust conveyancing work. Emma’s commitment to supporting clients through what can often be a stressful time in their lives mirrors the focus on providing a high quality and personal service at CTT Law.

Maria Hussain

Conveyancing Fee Earner

Maria Hussain is a Conveyancing Fee Earner with 4 years’ experience in Residential Conveyancing. Maria graduated from Coventry University with Honours and will shortly complete the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law.

Maria brings her existing experience to her work in our conveyancing department, where she shares the team’s passion to provide the best service possible and expand on her existing knowledge.

Joe Drake

Solicitor

Joe is a Litigation and Dispute Resolution Solicitor. His practice focuses on a wide range of civil litigation matters, with particular emphasis on Contentious Trusts and Probate and Commercial Disputes.

Joe successfully obtained a First Class Honours degree and a Master’s in Law (with Distinction) from the University of Liverpool, he then went on to successfully complete a Master of Science in Law obtaining a further Distinction from the University of Law.

Before joining CTT Law Ltd, he gained valuable experience at a large international law firm and completed his training contract at a well-regarded regional firm in Liverpool.

Joe has previously featured as an author in his University Law Review and won the Liverpool Law Society’s 2024 Enoch Harvey prize, recognising his exceptional performance in professional examinations.

Dorothy Eromosele

Trainee Solicitor

Dorothy Eromosele is a Trainee Solicitor at CTT Law with experience in banking and corporate law. Dorothy obtained her LL.B from the University of Birmingham in 2015 and subsequently qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria in 2016. Returning to this jurisdiction, Dorothy recently concluded her LPC & LL.M at the University of Law and brings her experience in the legal and financial services sector to her work at CTT Law.

Charlie Foran

Junior Fee Earner

Charlie Foran is a Junior Fee Earner. Charlie brings her experience of both Public and Private Practice Conveyancing to her role at CTT Law.

Charlie shares the firm’s passion for delivering a 5-star service to all clients and will go above and beyond to ensure transactions run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

Charlie looks forward to further developing her knowledge and experience with the firm, focussing on CTT Law’s specialist trust conveyancing expertise.

After successful completion of the CILEX level 3 qualification, Charlie is looking forward to completing the CLC course to become a Licensed Conveyancer and gaining further knowledge and expertise in Conveyancing.

Chloe Wan

Legal Assistant

Chloe is one of our Legal Assistants at CTT Law and joins us after having graduated with first-class honours in LLB (Hons) from the University of Kent in 2024. After interning with us during her academic studies, Chloe returned to join the firm as a full-time employee, bringing her dedication to delivering exceptional client service. She works diligently to ensure clients feel supported throughout their transactions and is eager to further develop her legal expertise at CTT Law.

Casper Kasprowicz

Legal Assistant

Casper Kasprowicz LL.B (Hons) is a Legal Assistant at CTT Law working in our Conveyancing Department. A 2023 graduate of Coventry University, Casper began his career by gaining commercial experience to deepen his understanding of client needs before starting his legal career. At CTT Law, Casper is committed to supporting the team across all aspects of conveyancing, ensuring clients remain informed and supported at every stage of the process. Driven by a passion for continuous development, Casper is enthusiastic about advancing his legal skills and knowledge with us at CTT Law and aims ultimately to qualify as a solicitor.

Kirk Adams

Legal Assistant

Kirk is a Legal Assistant at CTT Law working in our Conveyancing Department and has experience in residential property and conveyancing. Kirk holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in International Relations and Politics, and subsequently completed his Bachelor of Laws at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.

In addition, Kirk holds a proficiency certificate in Commercial and Residential Property and has completed a Paralegal Diploma in UK Law.

Kirk shares the team’s commitment to delivering the highest quality service and brings both international and local real estate and property law experience to his role within our Conveyancing Department.

Kirk is dedicated to advancing his legal career with the goal of qualifying as a solicitor and looks forward to continuing his professional development at CTT Law.

Iqbal Khan

Legal Assistant

Iqbal is a Legal Assistant at CTT Law, working within our Litigation Department. He completed his LLB (Hons) at Birmingham City University in 2020, followed by the LPC LLM at the University of Law in 2021.

Before joining CTT Law, Iqbal worked as a Paralegal, gaining valuable experience, and enhancing his understanding of the legal profession, with a particular focus on Employment Law and Litigation.

Iqbal is committed to supporting the Litigation team in the efficient delivery of legal services, ensuring clients are kept informed and supported throughout the process. He is also keen to continue expanding his knowledge and gaining exposure to wider areas of Civil Litigation.

Driven by both professional and personal development, Iqbal is dedicated to furthering his legal career with CTT Law and ultimately qualify as a solicitor.
